Will you be 14-18 years old by June 18, 2021? Do you attend Vermilion High School, Firelands High School, or EHOVE? If both answers are yes, you qualify for the Mr Vermilion King Pageant to be held at the Vermilion Festival of the Fish on Friday, June 14th! You have the unique ability to WIN SCHOLARSHIPS, a crown, sash, and trophy, and the opportunity to represent the city of Vermilion at festivals and events around Ohio! To register, please fill out this form and return it to the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce by Monday, May 31st. If the chamber is not open, please put your form in the mailbox. All contestants must find a Vermilion business sponsor for the pageant. The sponsor fee is $50 and is due in the form of a check(made out to the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce), or cash at the parent/ contestant meeting that will be held on Saturday, June 5th from 3:30-6pm in the basement of Ritter Public Library. A sample sponsor letter is provided at the end of this application. It is just an example. You do not have to use this format. If you have trouble finding a business sponsor, please contact Gabby Martin, who is very happy to help! Two rehearsals will be held. One after the parent/contestant meeting on June 5th, and one the day before the pageant on Thursday, June 17th.
