Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

As autumn colors begin to appear, our thoughts once again turn to winter forecasting and the annual Woollybear Festival! On behalf of Miss Vermilion Queen Summer Ellis and her court, we are pleased to extend a warm invitation to your Queen and fellow royals to join us for the 2026 Woollybear Festival, Ohio’s largest one-day festival.

This year, we are excited to welcome visiting royalty to A Pawsitively Royal Brunch, a special pet-themed celebration held in honor of the late Dick Goddard, whose love for animals and dedication to animal welfare were as much a part of his legacy as his beloved Woollybear Festival.

The annual Royalty Brunch will be held at German’s Villa, 3330 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion, Ohio, approximately one-half mile east of Vermilion on Lake Road.

Sunday, October 4, 2026
Registration: 9:30 a.m.
Brunch: 10:30 a.m.
Woollybear Festival Parade: 1:30 p.m.

Brunch will include a wonderful array of fruits, juices, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, pastries, coffee, and more.

OFEA Queens will be admitted free of charge. Chaperones, court members, and guests are welcome to join us for brunch at a cost of $18.00 per person.

Reservation forms and parade entry forms are available online. Completed reservation forms, along with payment for each additional guest, must be received no later than September 29, 2026.

Following brunch, we will depart German’s Villa together with a police escort to the parade line-up. Parade entries may include floats, trucks, convertibles, sunroofs, moon roofs, or T-tops. For everyone’s safety, riding on the roof or hood of a vehicle is not permitted.

We hope you will join Queen Summer Ellis and the Vermilion Festival of the Fish Royalty Court for a Pawsitively Royal morning celebrating friendship, festival royalty, and the wonderful legacy of Dick Goddard before heading out to enjoy the Woollybear Festival.
